Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 September 2026
These terms of use apply to theshecircle.com.au (the "site"), operated by Pluralstar Pty Ltd (ABN 41 669 590 176) trading as The She Circle ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you attend one of our events, separate terms also apply — see clause 6.
1. Who we are
Pluralstar Pty Ltd (ABN 41 669 590 176) trading as The She Circle, based in Sydney, Australia. You can contact us at hello@theshecircle.com.au.
2. Using this site
You may browse the site and use our forms — for example, to register interest in an event or circle, join our member list, or contact us — for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not:
- use the site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or misleading;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or to any account, system or data;
- interfere with the site’s normal operation, including by overloading our forms or attempting to bypass rate limits or other protections;
- scrape, copy or republish content from the site without our permission, other than for your own personal use;
- impersonate another person, or submit false information through our forms.
3. Accuracy of information
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but details about events, circles and businesses can change. Please treat information on the site as a guide, and let us know at hello@theshecircle.com.au if something looks wrong.
4. Content on this site
4.1 Our content. Text, images, logos and design on the site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you must not otherwise copy, modify or reuse our content without our permission.
4.2 Her Business listings. Business listings published under "Her Business" are provided to us by the members and business owners they describe. We publish this content in good faith but do not independently verify every claim in it, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of information a listing owner has given us. A small number of listings are illustrative examples only, clearly marked with an "Illustrative example listing" label, and do not describe a real business.
4.3 She Stories. Stories published under "She Stories" are shared with the consent of the person they are about and remain their story to tell — please do not reproduce them elsewhere without permission.
5. Membership and interest forms
Registering interest in an event or circle, or joining our free member list, does not create any ongoing obligation on either side. We may contact you about the event, circle or membership you registered interest in and — only if you opt in — send you marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the information you give us.
6. Attending an event
If you attend one of our events, you agree to the risk warning, waiver and consent wording in our Event Waiver & Consent, together with any additional terms shown on that event’s own page — for example, its date, venue and price. Where an event’s own terms conflict with this document, the event’s own terms apply to that event.
7. Pricing and payment
Ticket prices shown on the site are in Australian dollars and, where GST applies, are inclusive of GST. We will provide a receipt or invoice on request that shows the GST component where applicable.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, gives you and that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent the law allows, and subject to the paragraph above: we provide the site "as is" and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it, except where that loss or damage is caused by us and cannot lawfully be excluded. Our liability for the recreational services provided at an event is instead governed by the release in our Event Waiver & Consent, given under section 139A of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and section 5N of the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW).
9. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites, including social media platforms and members’ own business websites. We do not control, and are not responsible for the content of, those sites.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last updated, and the current version is the one that applies.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
